The 2012 season will officially begin on Thursday, May 24th with the opening of the restaurant and lounge.  

Once again we are very fortunate to receive some outstanding press.  Just this week we received copies of the current National Geographic Traveler Magazine (June/July 2012).  We knew Burntside Lake was going to included in a story on 'Lake Escapes 7 American Classics' and that The Lodge would be mentioned.  We did not expect, however, to be given a full page color photo; once again, our iconic cabin # 26 is shown.   If you are interested in purchasing a copy; we do have a limited supply available at The Lodge.

Also this week we received a phone call from the Star Tribune in Minneapolis letting us know that we were included in their first ever 'Best of Minnesota' supplement.  That supplement came out yesterday (Wednesday, May 16th).
